Recommendations please for high street black mid/ high waist straight leg jeans , that keep their shape & don’t fade . Tried Topshop , constantly sold out in my size 30/30.

Weekday and Abercrombie are great for straight leg jeans!

I think H&M is great for denim, especially the vintage fit range. I also rate & Other Stories denim but it is a higher price point for the high street.

Just bought a high rise straight leg Weekday (Rowe) from Vinted .
Fab quality , but leg cut is quite wide , can’t decide whether they look right or not ! Particularly as I’m only just over 5ft 3inch
Is wide straight leg in a the mo ?

Yes the quality on the Weekday ( Rowe) jeans I bought from Vinted were spot on but cut on my shape not flattering . Need straight leg , but unsure which style to look out for . I have slim thighs , but waistline not so slim , so need high rise 
M&S have a good range of black straight legged jeans in different leg lengths.

They have , but all with stretch…always end up with too much & feels uncomfortable .
