Looking for a Christmas Present for my dad who is obsessed with the Game of Thrones books but has finished all of them (plus all sequels and prequels) - any recommendations?

What a great question! Obvious, but if he hasn’t read His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman, he must! And Pullman’s two more recent follow-ups in the Book of Dust trilogy are just as good. These are more war than fantasy, but my dad is currently enjoying Ben MacIntyre (SAS Rogue Heroes is currently on the BBC!). Otherwise, the Earthsea series by Ursula K Le Guin is meant to be excellent. There are four of them, so that should keep him busy!
