It’s got to be one of the taco spots in Mission! I really rated La Taqueria – well worth the queue!

As a rule, most dining in SF is pretty lax. But, if I had to pick some specific places to go with a 16 year old:
Delfina Pizza, locations in the mission and Fillmore
Dragon Eats, super casual vietnamese lunch spot in Hayes Valley and Haight Street
Souvla, cali take on souvlaki in the Marina and Hayes valley
Barrio, Mexican in Ghiradelli Square
General areas, that have casual walk in dining:
Chestnut street in the marina,
Polk Street, good location below Nob Hill and lots of different cuisines
North Beach, lots of fun italian restaurants
