I’m looking for hotel recommendations in West Sussex, to meet family. Some are older so need a lift and don’t appreciate music in tbe public rooms. Rooms need a super king bed and preferably extra seating, e.g. a sofa or armchairs.
This seems to rule out most smaller hotels but I’m looking for something individual, rather than a chain.
Any suggestions?
Cowdray Estate is so lovely and has numerous properties across its vast estate to choose from – a great option if you want to self-cater. I stayed at Challen’s Yard last year which would be great for families.
For something really luxe, I would book Leonardslee House hotel which has a Michelin-starred, or The Pig in the South Downs which is always a winner!
