Can anyone recommend a cosy, warm cardi-ideally not too grannyish and vaguely professional to wear to wfh as I am permanently freezing thanks to husband being stingy with the heating

Hi there Amelie - merino base layer and wool only cardigans - you could layer a couple of cashmeres too - wool and natural fibres are recommended by artic researchers - manmade fibres will frankly not keep you warm - poncho can look good

I feel like this would basically be like wearing a robe! It’s incredibly soft and cosy but can be made to look quite chic too since you can cinch it in. You could even go all out and get the matching trousers and top too.
