Hi all! Super random but I’m curious to know if there are any handy apps that you have downloaded on your phone that you love/find useful?
Being London based, I rate the beauty apps. I personally use Secret Spa for all manicure/pedicure appointments they’re great for ease and convenience and I wouldn’t go back to salons now!
Splitwise is great for remembering who owe’s who how much, and I use Outdooractive for hiking routes - so helpful even for smaller routes and walks around villages in the countryside!
I agree have only just discovered Splitwise. Too Good to Go is a great one for savings on unsold food from independent businesses. There’s some great deals on there and it tells you your contribution to reducing waste whilst enjoying yummy food. Mapster is a great for pinning places you’ve been/want to remember for future plans.
I couldn’t live without City Mapper in London - or the Gail’s app!! Someone also told me to download Accu weather to my phone instead of relying on the built-in weather forecast or even BBC weather. It’s way more accurate and gives you a 4-hour estimate.
this is a lifesaver for group holidays aswell! x
I’m obsessed with the Step app which recommends local restaurants, bars and cultural spots based on your location. Amazing when abroad and even in your local area, too!
Kindara - great for tracking your monthly flow
Olio is a great little app. Primarily for food waste reduction and the idea of recycle/reuse within the local community, but also non-food is listed and can be requested for free.
I love yourjuno - quick and fun way to learn about finance
City mapper is an absolute life saver couldn’t travel in London without it.
I also use Inshorts that gives you news in less than 60 words!
I use (& love) Todoist which is an easy way to capture your to-do list. Write the tasks and errands and you can mark them off as completed.
