What shoes are good with flared jeans. In my head, you need a heel?! But still obviously want them to be wearable. Any ideas?

I would go for heeled ankle boots. These will fit under the jean and give you an elongated silhouette. To make it wearable, I would opt for boots that have a walkable heel height, like this pair from H&M.
