Flying

My boyfriend checks the BA app like I check the new arrivals page on Net-a-porter, daily. This daily checking leads to daily battles about who is more obsessed, arguably he wins as he says he can look for free. Until the day he saw our LHR – BOS appear on the upgrade page, and we made the decision to upgrade to first class, ‘which is technically Free Meg as we can use points’.

I love that rationale, as now every time I sell something on vinted, it means my next purchase is technically free! Anyway, I am here to tell you if you ever get the opportunity to fly first class and use the Concorde lounge, you must. It may be my only time I get to experience flying first class, and I will always be grateful for the experience as I loved every second.

Every single BA staff member made you feel so welcome, and really went out of their way to make sure your holiday started way before you stepped on the plane. The meal in the lounge was lovely, we had cocktails on arrival and sat on the balcony, to having a lovely lunch, then we sat at the bar for a cappucino.

On board we received Elemis wash bags with Elemis miniature skin staples. Temperley London pyjamas, it was a dream from start to finish.

My tip is to book your flights as usual on BA, but keep an eye out daily on what seats become available as we upgraded on points (what I am now telling my other half is, the more I shop the more points we get. Win Win). The memories will last a lifetime, and using points made it such a steal :orange_heart:
