Hey Tobi.
Any suggestions you have for fun dates that don’t always involve eating out?
Any dates you did early in your dating life you think yup that was great

Always love the comedy store in Covent garden for date night! x
When me and my boyfriend started dating, we used to go to the ‘Late’ session at the Science Museum. It’s adults only, you can drink on your way around and there’s djs on different floors. A super fun way to see a museum! (and it’s free!)
Ooooh I love a Museum Late! Most of the big museums are doing them now. I also think an activity is so fun- like bowling, mini golf (the perfect weather for Putt in the Park now), or a boat trip down the Thames. You can catch an Uber Boat to Greenwich and spend the day wondering around there. I also just love walking dates- either in Hyde Park, Richmond or along the South Bank as there’s always something happening along there. Have fun!
In the Ed Sheeran documentary he goes with his wife to a studio and they create canvases by throwing paint. It looked brilliant!
How about playing tennis? I also love the idea of a picnic or a walk around Battersea park x
So many great ideas - thanks everyone x
If you have bikes, cycling is always a wholesome date (especially as the weather is so lovely at the moment). There’s plenty of cycle paths around the UK, and you can always pack a picnic if you did want a bite to eat!
Alternatively, pack a frisbee or a pack of cards and go to a nearby beach or local park at sunset. Doesn’t have to break the bank! x
With all this good weather, how about a simple beach day?
One of the first dates my boyfriend organised was mini golf at Swingers which was so much fun and I wasn’t expecting to love as much as i did! You have drinks as you go around and there are some good food options too for before / after you have done the course.
I’ve also heard great things about Top Secret Comedy Club, it’s been on my list for a while!
Fairgame in Canary Wharf is also apparently a lot of fun but maybe better for a double date.
One of my fave dates (well we’d been together about 8 months by that point), was going to the beach in Devon for sunrise with a disposable bbq, sausages and bucks fizz! We then went for a long walk and were back in town for a coffee shop opening. Would love to do it again! In fact, I’m going to the Isle of Mull next week and staying very close to the beach so we could do this!
Hire one of those Go boats, grab a few drinks and snacks and go down the Thames! Go to The Mitre in Hampton court’s website - they mention a place that hires them.
