Gifts for a Wine Lover

Would love to gift a wine lover something special. I was originally thinking a subscription service. Does anyone know a good one? Or are there any cool wine-realted products to know in this space that are nice as a gift? x

Marlo has some really nice options: https://marlo.wine/

If you’re after something a bit more fun, look at the bottles and merch at Top Cuvee:

How about a gift voucher for Hedonism? Love it there. They also host cool tastings and events so you could always book tickets for something, too?

Emile Wines has a great wine subscription service for quarterly deliveries.

In terms of gifts, a Coravin wine system would be the top choice! For something more affordable, here are some gadget ideas - a cool bottle opener or wine stopper will always be appreciated!

Peckham Wine Cellars has a subscription service my husband got me for Valentine’s Day and it’s been great so far - really interesting / different wines.
Otherwise you could look at Noble Rot magazine subscription or Decanter magazine is a bit more traditional.
We have also done a few wine tastings at London Wine Academy which does gift vouchers and would highly recommend.

Good Pair Days - I was given a two month subscription two years ago and I loved it so much that I’m now a month customer.

eto is a wonderful gift for wine lovers - it allows you to enjoy one glass, and then preserve the rest of the bottle for later: @eto_wine & etowine.com. Also, I may be biased, but the amie (@drinkamie) Gift Box is a lovely gift – GIFT – drinkamie

Wine Unpacked is great. I get great monthly wines from them.

I often gift from The Magnum Company

Both of these make good gifts and are also really useful.

It’s already been mentioned, but you can also personalise an eto to make is extra special.

Set of wset tasting glasses.
I have bought 6 or 12 different wines as a gift to be drunk on special occasions with tasting notes and recommendations for food pairing, written on scrolls attached to each bottle with ribbon. If you are unsure a good wine merchant will suggest suitable wines and those which will mature for certain anniversaries in the future.

Jancis Robinson collection from Richard Brendon - beautifully packaging, the product is so pretty and as it’s a universal wine glass it works for everyone regardless of their favourite wine!

I was just in Oliver Bonas and spotted a Wine Bottle Thermometer! Such a fun little gift

A wine thermometer is a nice idea for a more gadgety gift Wine thermometer - Serve your wine at perfect temperature. x

I always give these as gifts to hosts and especially with summer coming. Its a stainless steel stick that you pop in the freezer and when you open a bottle of white or rose, you pop it into the bottle and it doubles as a non spill pourer whilst keeping the bottle chilled. Very clever.
