I’ve just been trying on clothes for a meal out with friends tomorrow and realised I have lots of casual clothes but nothing a bit dressier for “out out” that fits/I still like. I’m looking for a new outfit- dress/ skirt/ trousers whatever! To see me through the next few months of birthdays, meals, drinks. Any suggestions please? Only stipulation- I don’t tend to wear anything short these days. Thank you!!

I love these sets from Sleeper, I have them in three colours and get so many compliments when I wear them.
Not going to lie, at first you may feel as though you are a member of ABBA, but I promise you it honestly is a gorgeous outfit - and you could wear the shirt with jeans and a leather jacket too.

I just ordered a gorgeous velvet kimono from River Island which I’m hoping to use for dressing up my basics over Christmas! I tried on instore already and made my mind up at home, so I wear a size 18 normally and went for the large. Will be wearing with a slip skirt and roll neck as a first thought. I think it is useful to have a statement top you can reach for. I recently got this one and I am styling it with loose jeans and heels for my go-to evening look, I know I will wear it so much over the next few months. I’ve also seen it styled with a slip skirt. I got it in white but love it in black too
