Hair colour

During the lockdown I coloured my hair at home using the Garnier Nutrisse shade “Holly’s Shade”. I was initially terrified as I had spent 40 years getting colour done at a salon. Hairdressers had always warned of terrible outcomes. Now 3 years on I cannot imagine going to a salon for colour ever again. My hair is in such better condition and the colour is glorious and multi-tonal. I can touch up roots whenever I like and of course it is so much cheaper and more convenient. Wish I had tried it sooner.

Oh I’ve heard great things about the Garnier Nutrisse range. My mum also loves the colours and I’m a big fan of at-home beauty treatments! If you love how it comes out then that’s the most important thing - it’s a great money and time saver, too!

Thanks for your reply. I can’t believe how much money I have spent over the years only to find that this works better and my hair is in such lovely condition.

And don’t you think the little conditioners you get in each box are great? So concentrated and moisturising!

Love this recco! Similarly have you tried a hair gloss before? They’re such big news at the moment and is quite a low-damage way to top up colour and shine between colour appointments or colouring your hair at home. I’m going to give Glaze’s clear gloss a go this week actually as they’re said to be really good for using at home. x

Thank you. I haven’t used a gloss before as I worried it might make my hair look greasy as I am blonde. Can you suggest a suitable colour and any advice.
