Hen do (kinda) celebration but for 2?

My best friend is getting married next year but doesn’t want a hen do - I’m her MOH and she’s asked instead for just us two to have a fun girly day in London which I can plan, rather than a big celebration. Any ideas what I can do to make it feel a bit more special than a normal day out?

This sounds so lovely!

Perhaps depends on the time of year & budget but perhaps a really special restaurant in the evening - The Ritz tasting menu is so so special but it is spenny. But fun to do alongside a show.

The art’otel in Battersea has just opened and has an amazing swimming pool - so could have a nice pool day here if weather is looking good, the restaurant

Daphnes terrace for a day time lunch and cocktails is so lovely and feels very special https://daphnes-restaurant.co.uk/

What a nice idea! I did something similar when my BFF got engaged earlier in the year. We started with a drink at the champagne bar in Selfridges (then had a look around the West End shops) and went to Liberty to get a bracelet engraved for her. We then went to the Dorchester (it recently updated its restaurant and bar) for drinks and dinner which felt really special.

You could even start off with brunch / breakfast at the newly opened ArtSpace Cafe at Claridge’s for mimosas and eggs! Even a coffee / pastry from there feels really special.

Lastly, have a look at Common Decency - the bar at the NoMad hotel which is super glam and always fun at the weekends! Have the best time whatever you decide to do!
