So I’m having a hard time finding sneakers that would be waterproof and also looked trendy and modern. Any recommendations welcome!

Hi. I’m saying this as someone who’s worked with shoes for 15 years. I think you’re going to have a hard time finding this. Usually goretex and other equivalent waterproof membranes require a certain style to be able to be inserted into a design. However using a waterproofing cream ( high fat content) on smooth leather sneakers often, is going to be as good a protection as a waterproof membrane.
I don’t know if you think they are stylish or good looking, I think they are so comfortable that I’m not objective about them , but I have these waterproof ones from Ecco and I love them

These aren’t trainers but they are super comfy if you’re after something really waterproof. I’ve had mine for a couple of years and they are sooo useful and comfortable. I think it’s very hard to find a trainer that is truly waterproof…
