I have to go to black tie dinners a few times a year. I would like to buy a new dress that is a classic and that I can wear each time. The problem is it is quite old fashioned so nothing short, shoulders should be covered but it is not floor length. Ideally not velvet or sequins as the dinners are all year round and I prefer quite minimal styles. Also the dinner age ranges from 30 to 75.
Any help much appreciated! Budget for the right dress is up to £450.
