Post gym skincare

I wanted your opinion on post gym skincare routine. If I exercise at lunch, I have already done full morning skincare routine before heading to work, then after showering at the gym would you do full skincare routine again with all products or do a stripped back routine? Thanks!

I’m not an expert, but if I gym in the day I do a stripped back routine of cleanse/moisturiser/SPF combination, and then will do my proper nighttime routine later on.

I found this book super helpful when looking at multi-step skincare https://www.amazon.co.uk/Skincare-ultimate-no-nonsense-Caroline-Hirons/dp/0008375526

Do you use serums/toner in the morning? If you’re using an acid or something like that I wouldn’t reapply mid day even if you have worked out, as you might end up using more than is recommended. Take this with a pinch of salt though, this is just based on my personal experience!

I think it keep it simple with a calming face wash, a Hyaluronic acid & a light cream and always SPF!

I really love cerave face wash and this beauty pie cream Super Healthy Skin™ Ultimate Anti-Aging Cream | BEAUTY PIE

I agree with the above, keep it simple otherwise you run risk of overdoing it.

A gentle, quick cleanse/wipe is all you need to do, especially if you’re then following another routine at night.

I really rate this if you suffer with breakouts or anything like that from post-workout sweat. It’s so good - antibacterial - and keeps skin smooth without being abrasive
