Rainy Festival Outfit

I’m going to Latitude on Sunday and the weather is looking rainy and 20 degrees. I’m thinking wellies/boots and a mac but am stumped on ‘the main outfit’. I’m 46 and a size 10 if that helps!

Boxy denim shorts, shoulder pad plain or graphic tee

Maybe even a long sleeved denim shirt with a bodysuit underneath- you can’t go wrong with double denim!

A co-ord shorts set would also look great and both work with wellies or boots

For me it’s cowboy boots all day!!

Don’t forget your sunnies and favourites accessories, but most of all keep it simple, fun and comfortable

Hi Michelle, I’m going too! Agreed - weather is looking a bit dodgy! 20 degrees is not that warm but the rain is only very early morning, so I think you could do trainers? I went last year and it was very hot and dusty underfoot -I don’t think there’ll be lots of mud, so boots is also a good shout. It’s set to get up to 24 later so I’d avoid wellies - might feel a bit sweaty around the calves!!
I’d take a thin waterproof you could stuff in a small bag and then a vest top and denim shirt, with shorts.
See you there!

I think festivals are all about layers, a body into denim shorts and a jacket tied around your waist is perfect.
I also think a bumbag with essentials such as wipes, sun spray, plasters, mints, lip balm is a must.

Have the BEST time!

ooh how fun! agreen on wellies and mac - perhaps for the mainlook go for a band tee/graphic tee and a pair of shorts.

I also always love a coord so you could do a shirt & shorts co-ord as it’ll always look cool but its also comfy x

I think the perfect formula for this type of weather is a wipe clean boot, instead of wellies I usually wear a cowboy style boot or chunky boot with a mini skirt or mini dress, then a cool oversized jacket on top for when the temperature dips. Either a bomber, a khaki jacket or an oversized denim jacket. I usually go for a body or a band tee if wearing a mini skirt. Or could do a girly floaty mini dress with a cool boot that also looks great at festivals!

I agree, I like the idea of cowboy boots instead of wellies. You can team them with either a dress and jacket or they work just as well with shorts and a crochet top!
