How exciting! There are so many great places to visit. If you are staying in Manila, I suggest you explore BGC & Makati, loads of food and shopping malls plus a few historic monuments around that area. Beach wise, you HAVE to visit Boracay which is just over an hour flight from Manila. I recommend that you stay at Station 1, where the restaurants are located and you can enjoy a lovely sunset dinner along the beach, otherwise Station 2 is where the night life’s at!

I highly recommend island hopping from Boracay, either to Palawan or Siargao (maybe both!) I hope you have the best time xx

The Philippines are incredible! I went for two weeks a few years back and it is amazing! We flew into Cebu that worked out a good base to explore islands round there. We got the ferry to Bohol and spent a few days there, then on to Siquijor which I would say is an absolute must visit. We also went to El Nido (flight from Cebu) and did the boat trips round there and Coron, where they cook fresh fish off the back of the boat for lunch and you can do lots of snorkelling etc - most amazing beaches (consistently in the top in the world) and little islands round there. You can do extended boat trips with a company called Tao - we never did this as already had other travel plans by then but I know several who have and rave about it. We just did a couple of private day boat trips, which means you can control how long you spend on each place and also first boats to leave of the day so can hit up beaches long before anyone else gets there. If you go to El Nido I’d recommend staying along Corong Corong beach rather than El Nido town.

Also packing wise definitely take a dry bag with you to keep valuables in on boat trips, and an action camera.
