Hi!
Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for any nice brasseries or relaxed restaurants around Covent Garden/Piccadilly. Myself and my sister are taking my Dad to lunch who used to work around the area for years in the 70s and 80s, so anything classic London would be great!
Thanks so much

La Goccia is such a nice spot with something for everyone on its Italian menu! Always nice to sit outside or cosy up in the dining room with is blankets. Highly recommend the spritzes and any of the small plates to share
I always have a lovely time at Frenchie. But if budget allows, you can’t go wrong at J Sheekey, which is just around the corner.
was just about to reply the same - you completely forget you’re in central london too, it’s such a lovely little courtyard (if the weather permits!)
Agreed I love La Goccia for lunch such lovely food and vibes outside

Another vote for La Goccia!
The NoMad has gorgeous interiors. I’ve only been for brunch in the past but love the look of the lunch menu too
I love Balthazar, such a good spot! https://balthazarlondon.com/
Ochre is a lovely idea. It is in the National Gallery and is such a great lunch spot.
I also love Barrafina. The food is so good!
I love Joe Allen – and your dad might have fond memories of the original!
