For Rome, I’d make sure to visit some of the cooler areas like Testaccio and Trastevere which have loads of good little shops, restaurants and cafes. Restaurant wise, I loved Da Enzo and La Matriciana – and don’t forget to have a coffee at Sant Eustachio off Piazzo Navona.

Honestly had one of my best meals ever at Dilla in Rome. It’s a must-visit!

Few of my favourites for Florence:
Firstly there is a bar called Menergie is a must visit.
For amazing views of the cathedral I would recommend Art rooftop cocktail bar.
And then for a great street to find restaurants and bars is Via Faenza.

Florence
Highly reccomend ‘SE.STO on Arno’ rooftop bar on top of the Westin hotel. Great views of the city along the river and delicious apperitivo!
Piazzale Michalangelo - more amazing views and a nice bar.
La Gelatiera for the best gelato!
Also, if you have time in Florence check out the half day Fiat 500 tours. Sounds touristy but so much fun - you drive yourself around the gorgeous tuscan countryside in a vintage Fiat 500 and ending up in a vineyard for wine tasting and delicous pasta lunch - heaven! https://500touringclub.com/

Cinque Terre
Ristorante La Posada in Corniglia has a beautiful outside terrace and great food. Go have an Aperol at Bar Terra Terza (5 min walk) first.
Nessun Dorma in Manarola for pesto making with the most fabulous view. This one is a bit touristy but the venue is gorgeous and we found the food and drink to be delicious and generous portions. Plus you beat all the crowds if you book on the pesto making!

Hi. Florence is gorgeous, think you will have a great time. Piazza Santo Spirito has great ambiance and food. Pitti palace is on the same side of the river so worth seeing. Boboli gardens are so tranquil and beautiful, unmissable. In Cinque Terre I stayed one night in Riomaggiore and it was perfect, became much more quiet at night and there is a perfect hillside terraced walk with beautiful sunset views. Also the hike between Monterosso and Vernazza is perfect length and views. In Rome, I personally loved MACRO , if you like modern art. They say Rome is small, I don’t agree , it felt vast… going up to the gianicolo hill/park right next to trastevere was great for an overview.

Hope you have a lovely time.:carousel_horse:
