Zara and H&M have affordable ski and Free People is a great for something a bit more fun. Black is always chic but silver and cream puffers do seem to be having a bit of a moment if you want to mix it up. Sweaty Betty has cute base layer sets. And The North Face is hard to beat for something functional and sporty.
I don’t think it has to match - if you go for black you can mix and match your brands, but actually any colour jacket with black bottoms usually works. I love Fus Alp for a clean look and the quality is excellent - they often have pieces on The OutNet- in fact, it’s worth keeping an eye on drops there from all the brands, including Perfect Moment.
Laura Black’s recco is great - I would get matching set unless your expert skier which seems the way experts go as opposed to beginners (like me) not sure about black which again is the colour of experts immo!
