Oh you’ll have a great time - I went with a friend a couple of years ago and can still remember the Agua de Valencia cocktails (delicious but dangerous!) and the relaxed feel of the place. Best thing to do is go for a wander around the old town and you will stumble across lots of cute tapas bars in little squares to sit and people watch in (sadly don’t remember any names though!) We stayed at the Hospes Palau de La Mar which had a great central location near the Jardines del Turia gardens which are also worth a stroll around. Have fun!
