How lovely! I did a similar trip last August.
As you can imagine, Verona is fairly busy but has a lovely atmosphere. The Juliet Balcony is a must and we really enjoyed a special dinner at Antica Bottega del Vino – just make sure to book ahead!
The only part of Lake Garda we did was Sirmioni – again, it was busy, but it was beautiful and we had a really nice time looking around, eating gelato and going on one of the small boat trips.
Modena and Bologna are well worth a visit if you’re there a while and fancy day trips:
