First of all what an amazing way to spend your 21st birthday! Really the best place to be. In regards to what to do, I would definitely recommend going to Sadelles for brunch, Joe’s pizza for a quick pit-stop, visiting the MET & having a walk around Soho. Also despite being cliché, I would also say it is definitely worth vising the Rockefeller Center (especially if you are visiting around Christmas time).

Omg how fun! NYC is my fave - you will have a blast. My favourite area in New York is Williamsburg in Brooklyn. It has great vintage stores (Awoke Vintage and L Train Vintage), food spots (Misi, 12 Chairs, The Four Horsemen & Robertas) and skyline views (The Westlight or even just down by the water at Domino Park)!

Other recs I’d always mention are renting bikes and cycling around Central Park before popping into The Plaza for a few drinks. Totally agree with Elizabeth that you must visit The Met. Bubby’s is great for brunch. Grand Banks for a fun sunset dinner on a boat. And lastly, you simply MUST get a pizza slice and also a bagel at some point! Hope you have the best time xx

I would definitely invest in a cosy snood/ wool balaclava as the wind in NYC can be biting!

I second the Rockefeller Center! It’s definitely worth doing Top of the Rock – in my opinion it’s the BEST view of the city! Be prepared though if you’re there at Christmas time as it gets super busy in this area because of the tree.

Here are a few of my favourite spots…

Brunch/Breakfast: Sadelle’s, Jack’s Wife Freda, Clinton St Baking Co, Sarabeth’s, Bubby’s, Buvette

Dinner: Sant Ambroeus, American Bar, Bar Pitti, Saint Theo’s, Momoya, Ci Siamo, BondST, Lola Taverna

NY pizza: Joe’s Pizza on Carmine Street

NY bagels: Leon’s Bagels

Food markets: Chelsea Market, Time Out Market Dumbo

Museums: The MET, The Guggenheim

Head to Dumbo in Brooklyn as it’s a lovely area to walk around on the waterfront. If you’re a Gossip Girl fan head to Washington Street and you’ll recognise Dan Humphrey’s apartment building!
