I use makeup remover, serum gel and a hydration cream. Is that enough?
I have a similar skincare routine at the moment. One thing I would add though is a good everyday spf (even if it’s cloudy!)
These are a few of my favourites:
I also have a very similar routine, I do a double cleans in the evening and a single cleanse in the morning (I use Cerave), then a serum followed by a moistrizer. Sometimes at night I swap the moistrizer for a night mask.
And agreed on the spf, it’s an absolute must - I use the Glow hub one, or the all time fave from la roche posay:
Definitely agree with adding SPF. I love my Supergoop Glow Screen:
I agree, you just need a good SPF at the end of your routine I love La Roche Posay’s Anthelios:

It’s the best and so thin, so it doesn’t interfere with other products on your skin
I know it was featured in the gold edition, but I’m 21 and really rate Dr Sam Bunting’s range. Even the cleanser/nightly/brightly.
And the Skin Rocks Retinol, strength 1.
I have acne prone skin and I find these amazing!
I’d really recommend checking out Caroline Hirons if you aren’t sure where to start with skincare - she has a book and also her blog has some really helpful cheat sheets:
