30th Birthday Ideas

Hi! Does anyone have any good ideas for a relatively intimate & not too crazy 30th birthday celebration in London? I was thinking a nice dinner but I kind of want to make it more exciting.
For the dinner, does anyone have any relatively chilled but nice recommendations in south west London (fulham/chelsea/notting hill area) or central, ideally where I could get a private space and isn’t crazy expensive?

The Pelican in Notting Hill has a lovely private dining room that comes with a set menu that is priced per head rather than paying for the room (at least that was the case last time I checked but there is an email to contact on the site: Private Dining - The Pelican) - the room is stunning and has a country house feel.

The Grand on Portobello Road also has a downstairs room with its own bar that can be booked for dinner and drinks, the food there is lovely and depending on your budget you can rent out the downstairs for the whole night! https://www.thegrandportobello.com/the-vault

To make it a little bit more exciting and special, my go to is choosing a fun theme (not necessarily fancy dress, it could be something like your favourite TV show, movie or artist) and then adding some extra decorations to the table, a fun game after dinner that goes with the theme. You could also have a themed welcome drink to tie in with the decorations and dress code x

Happy birthday in advance! My friend booked a room at Gold in Notting Hill for her 30th which was lovely! I’m not sure what it was like price-wise, I know there was a minimum spend at the bar, and we had canapés rather than a sit down meal but I think they have different options for private bookings https://goldnottinghill.com/

Orasay might do 30th dinners – such a good spot in that part of town:

Zephyr or Kuro would be great too.
