40th party

I’m having a fairly last minute 40th bday party at my flat and need tips for a couple of easy cocktails to make for around 15 people and best party nibbles please! Thank you x

I really like a St Germain spritz which always goes down well. All you have to do is mix 40ml of St‑Germain Elderflower Liqueur with 60ml of prosecco and the same of sparkling water. Finish with a lemon twist and a rosemary sprig - super easy to prep ahead then add the sparkling last-minute.

In terms of snacks, might be easier to buy a few bits to save you time and stress!

Can’t get anymore bang for your buck with easiness than a Moscow Mule! Ginger Beer (make sure a good one like Fentiman’s etc), vodka and freshly squeezed lime juice. Can literally make a jug rather than individual.
As for nibbles it’s that time of year when you can dive into a good cocktail sausage (honey and mustard dressed) or homemade sausage rolls made with shop pastry are easier than you’d think! For more fancy but easy I’d do bilinis with smoked salmon and sour cream. Or a smoked mackerel pate (easier to make homemade than you’d think) on toast with a quick pickle cucumber. Then a load of pringles becuase everyone loves pringles.
