What should I wear to an American diner for a valentines dinner date? its a casual place but I still want to look feminine/put together.
Any recommendations please?

I think leather trousers are a nice dressy alternative that can still be worn with a low key tee, blouse or knit. A knitted dress can also be worn really casually with trainers!

I agree! Leather trousers are a go-to for me for date night, I tend to wear them with boots and a nice knit. Or, I like wearing quite relaxed wide leg denim with boots, a long sleeve top and an oversized blazer.
