SO basic but you can’t beat LouLou’s vodka pasta or brekkie at Carette.
Also dying to try Giraffe when I go at X’mas.
I went last December and the Christmas markets were insane! Deffo a must. x

Carboni’s have a cool bar downstairs for after-dinner cocktails. To beat the hangover the next day head to Le Café Marly for a croque monsieur (and a rosé) with a view of the Louvre!

  • Point ÉphĂ©mère: right on the canal, really good atmosphere
  • Pavilion Puebla in Parc des Buttes-Chaumont: so so nice, a gorgeous bar nestled in the trees of the park (will need to book)
  • DĂ©viant: super nice natural wine bar
  • Buvette: super nice natural wine bar again
  • Aux deux amis: wine bar
  • Les bains: very trendy cool hotel for a cocktail

Giraffe is fab! I went there as our post panny-D escape during 2020 and it was incredible. The staff are so lovely and attentive… also their sister company Monsieur Bleu is great in the evening for drinks and good atmosphere

From the front, Candelaria is a small taco restaurant with bright lights that you might not expect much from (although the taco’s are delicious)… If you wander on through to the back of the restaurant you’ll find the door to a brilliant speakeasy that serves delicious cocktails - the perfect pre or post dinner drinks!

Similarly, Moonshiner is another low-lit speakeasy that creates cool cocktails. To enter the speakeasy you’ll have to walk through Da Vito - a low-key pizza restaurant that tops their buffalo Margherita’s with parmesan (one of the best pizza’s I’ve ever tasted).

It is worth noting that both these speakeasies tend to get quite busy, quite quickly, so be prepared to stand rather than sit with your cocktails.

See our blog on Paris here:

I went a few weeks back for my 31st and would really recommend:
Early June
Malro
Chez Nue

The Mary Celeste is fun

Not a bar but HIGHLY recommend Chez Francis for dinner - you can see the Eiffel Tower on the other side of the river so it is beautiful at night, and the food is delicious!

Django in South Pigalle, for cocktails& small plates.
