I’ve been tasked with planning my work Christmas day drinks in York and was wondering if anyone knew of any nice bars or could recommend an itinerary for drinks and maybe food. There will be 6 of us going.

Pearly Cow at GuestHouse hotel has a lovely bar, or there’s Lucia Wine Bar which is a bit more girly (good for a younger work group)

We had delicious cocktails recently at Lucia. It’s very pretty, tucked away in a flagstone-paved courtyard (York - Lucia).

- Sotanao (underground cellar, very good gin options!)
