Looking for a nice (but hopefully not mad expensive) wedding guest dress for this summer…only issue is, the venue is abroad and there is no shade. Bride has warned to expect up to 35 degrees so I’m terrified of getting sweaty/having marks. Something floaty but stylish - I’m only 5ft4 so full length sometimes drowns me. Anyone been in a similar position and have tried and tested recommendations? Thanks in advance!

Hi! Mint Velvet has a new collection that has some great dresses, I love this one for a wedding guest dress! Floaty and the cut out details would hopefully help in the heat!

A Small compact umbrella is also another good accessory to give yourself shade too, which you can get on amazon in a colour that might match your outfit.

Massimo Dutti have some gorgeous linen dresses, halter style and quite floaty. All sorts of colours and really good prices for the fabric and quality. If you join their loyalty scheme they do free alterations in store too.

I would try to avoid silk/satin as that will show any sweat marks.
Silk Fred do some nice floaty dresses that are a really good price.
