Belfast restaurants

I am organising a 35 year university reunion in Belfast. Any suggestions please - would really appreciate your help - particularly any local insight. Thank you.

Pricey - Muddlers Club, Ox, James Street South
Medium - any Deanes restaurant
Funky and tasty - No. 1 Taco, anywhere in the Cathedral quarter really.

Check out @nifoodreviews on Insta for lots of Belfast recommendations.

Great cocktails and live music at Bert’s Jazz Bar

Yugo is fab. Howard Street and Ora Wine and Tapas.
Jay Rayner just gave Eipic at Deans a great review.
Ox is lovely and great to have in Belfast but overpriced and a tasting menu you could find in London.
More important - Bars:
Whites Tavern
Kelly’s Cellars (next to Mourhe Seafood Bar which was always excellent but I haven’t been in a few years)
Garrick Bar
Merchant Hotel for a cocktail (avoid Grand Central - overpriced and not special fir food or drinks though nice to stay in)
Enjoy!

Also for things to do, the Black Taxi Tour is great - I am from Belfast and I loved it, did it on my birthday.
Titanic Museum is also great.

Yes! The Black Taxi tour gets rave reviews from everyone, even locals!

Bootleggers for tacos and margaritas, cloth ear (which is then beside the best bars called the dirty onion and the thirsty goat), the morning star and a place called the pocket for breakfast/brunch vibes
