I have a coral coloured Chanel that was a present for my 30th that I’ll never part with. Everyone is different, but for me an investment item has to be statement - something that wows me each time, as opposed to necessarily being classic or something that ‘goes with’ everything. My Raey navy coat from last year is also up there, and I have a Celine Phantom from Phoebe Philo’s era which is stupidly heavy and impractical but I’ll never part with it because I have never fallen in with with a bag like it. On my wishlist is a Tiffany Elsa Peretti bone cuff in silver, and a ring from either Jessica McCormack or NYC designer Arielle Ratner.
