Hi hi, its my besties birthday and I need to think of a present to get her, we usually get things which are a bit more creative. A few examples of past pressies we have done are the Mr Maria Smiley Face Lamp, a Vogue from our DOB and a Laetitia Rouget plate, but I am stuck with what to get and haven’t done before! Any recommendations please?
Do you have a budget in mind? X
Not Another Bill is doing free customization for iPhone cases right now, which could be quite fun. Also, I think cooking stuff is always a good idea (if they like to cook), like a cast iron pan, a le creuset tea pot or a nice knife.
I really love the idea of a nice coffee table book! Especially if there’s a book of a place you’ve been on holiday together or on the topic of something she’s really interested in
Look at Assouline, Taschen, Thames & Hudson and Rizzoli
Such good ideas thanks so much all!
I think anything under 100 max x
I also love the idea of a coffee table book! My friends also bought me a face gym voucher one year which was amazing and such a treat!
I would prob do a massage/facial/treatment voucher.
Okay this might be a little too wild but I actually love the idea of making a fake magazine of your memories together - like the magazine looks a bit like vogue but all the articles etc are you and your besties memories, what you love about her etc - and the editors letter is your birthday wishes! I printed here before and was very happy with the outcome: https://mixam.co.uk/magazines
I would literally die if someone made something like that for me!
Can I ask where you got the vogue from your DOB pls?
Assouline coffee table books are always for the win. Would also recommend the below:
- An experience (cooking class, driving experience, FaceGym)
- Ottoman Hands do super cute jewelry that is a bit different
- Afternoon tea at Claridges (or similar)
- Welded friendship bracelets (Astrid & Miyu)
Sorry I got bought it as a present rather than bought it myself so not 100% sure! Had a google and this has come up, may be worth a look? https://www.vintagevoguemagazines.co.uk/
