Black paint recommendations?

Some suggestions for paint that is a true black? Struggling to find one that doesn’t look off black/grey/navy?

Have you thought about using chalkboard paint? It’ll give a true black finish

Great idea never thought of that. Have a child in the house do you think it would last well with marks stratches etc?

Well the great thing is you can wipe it with a damp cloth, like a blackboard!

Depends what you are painting, if it’s interior of a house then Dulux and Johnstones are pretty pigmented. Get a colour swatch card but they are pretty good. More expensive paint better quality it is. I work with paints all the time

Little Greene do a very good black-black. Maybe Lamp Black. So many are, as you say, not true black
