Cape Town

Hi all.
I’m thinking of visiting Cape Town in September this year.
Just wanted advice on safety as I plan on going solo and how many days would you recommend (was thinking 5 nights - is that enough).
Any recommendations for places to visit and eat at are welcome.

The food scene in Cape Town is amazing! When I went last it was for 5 nights and I thought that was a good amount of time. Food spots I loved - Foxcroft, The Pot Luck Club, Fyn, Bouchon Bistro, La Colombe. There were also quite a few I didn’t manage to make that were on my list and meant to be amazing like Belly of the Beast, Pier & Salsify.
Oranjezicht farmers market is a must visit with loads of great places to eat too. I didn’t go solo however I found that Uber was really easy and reliable for going out at night.

Hi I totally agree with The Pot Luck Club - amazing food!
If possible I would also recommend one night on a safari game reserve, the lodges and food is incredible and of course the safari itself is amazing.
