Cheltenham jazz festival & restaurant tips

Hi SL Community - I’m going to the Cheltenham Jazz festival in May and want to book somewhere good to eat in evening. Ideally not a chain, more local, artisinal ideally. Any tips for where’s good, and also what to expect in the evenings generally around the town during the festival would be super helpful. xxx

How exciting, there’s a great foodie scene up there. I would try Purslane - a lovely neighbourhood restaurant with a good wine list!

Would highly recommend Prithvi - https://prithvirestaurant.com/

It’s contemporary Indian cuisine, amazing cocktails and quite intimate. Have a great time!

Cheltenham is great for food loads and loads of restaurants all within walking distance of the main Jazz fest areas: Filipino restaurant called Piesta really good food … but also unexpectedly karaoke :microphone: :joy:.
Memsaaib is really good - Indian fine dining, amazing food
If you’ve got a car or happy to take a cab then Dunkertons near the reservoir is a really good atmosphere. Loads of street food style places and usually live music.
