Does anyone have any recommendations for a city break or actually anywhere in Europe for 3/4 nights with 2 children (2 and 5 year old). We are looking to go away in July in the summer holiday. Thanks so much.

Copenhagen would be really fun! About 2 hours from London and it’s great in the summer . Has lots of parks with playgrounds, street food markets, a huge theme park and lots of pizza & al fresco spots. There’s also the national Children’s Museum, and you could even do a boat trip along the river?

I’m going there in August for a girls trip, I wished I’d thought about that as you’re right that would have been great with the kids!
Paros in Greece is a good summer getaway.
Also look at La Maremma, Tuscany - there are beautiful beaches to head to, cities and borghi to visit and islands to be discovered.
