Having a mid week gathering with some friends, would like some recs please for cool pubs or wine bars with good seating please x
Vinoteca is new in Borough Yards is large and has a lovely atmosphere - Vinoteca Borough - wine bar, restaurant, wine shop
Just down the road is Bedales, which is also really lovely and has great small sharing plates of food if you get a bit snacky Borough Market — Bedales Wines
There are loads of other pubs in that area too!

For wine bars, I love The Drop – there’s one in Borough and Coal Drops Yard. Clarette in Marylebone is lovely as is 40 Maltby Street in Bermondsey.
Pubs are my specialist subject! If you’re happy to head west, Notting Hill has loads – I really like The Pelican, The Princess of Notting Hill and The Cow – and they all do decent food!

I went to the Bloomsbury Club last week. They have live jazz every week and it was so lovely in there. There’s a gorgeous cosy covered garden with fairy lights. Apparently it’s quite busy late night each weekend and a good buzz, so perhaps somewhere to venture afterwards. A good wine & cocktail menu! X
