Copenhagen Hotel Recommendations

I’m thinking of going to Copenhagen in May/June & was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for affordable hotels/AirBnbs? I’ve been once before but want to try something new this time x

Hiii, I stayed at Ascot Hotel in Copenhagen for my birthday last year, in March - and it was SO SO good! They also have a lovely bar/reception area. I assume that the time of year will encourage prices to fluctuate but for a 3 nights stay in March, we paid a relatively affordable price x

I’ve stayed in both the Hotel Kong Arthur which has a great spa, and also the Manon Les Suites which has the most amazing central atrium and indoor pool. Both are in good locations near the Lakes

I stayed in a pod with a friend for one night and it was hilarious and fun!!! might be worth it for the experience

I went in September for my birthday and stayed at Hotel Bella Grande. Very well located and beautiful interiors with a popular Italian restaurant too. We’ve wrote up our favourite things to do: https://www.thehungrysoles.com/copenahgen

Enjoy and hope this helps x

Hotel D’ Angleterre is a classic, the equivalent to the Ritz in London and old school Copenhagen, very formal and nice. Villa Copenhagen is just opposite Tivolli gardens and more modern, it reminds me a bit of the edition hotels. I was at both hotels three weeks ago and my partner is Danish and made the recommendations.

The Radisson Collection Royal Hotel is great, one of the higher hotels so great views of Tivoli, and they also have rooms decorated by well known Danish designers like Arne Jacobsen. The team were super sweet and gave us a tour when we went

I stayed at The Grand Joanne. Some of the rooms are small but lovely. Great location. We got the train in from airport and it’s literally round the corner from the station. So easy access to metro if U don’t fancy walking. But everything within easy walking distance. Highly recommend x
