Hey all,

I was wondering does anyone have any suggestions for a cute summer bag? Not too expensive and small to medium in size? Going on holiday to Sicily and want to treat myself!

Depends if you are after a tote or a smaller style - I love a basket bag in the summer and always think Zara Home have a good offering.

I love all the little pouch bags around at the moment and they are perfect for holiday.

Hi,
I would love to offer a few suggestions, but to narrow it down, wondered:
Do you have an idea of the type of material you would like, leather, fabric or basket weave?
Are you hoping to be able to have free hands whilst on your trip, so needing a longer strap or tote style? Carrying around bits and pieces for a day of sightseeing is often not suited to small bags, nor ones without crossbody or shoulder straps.
Do you have any favourite colours? Colours which look great for Italian holidays are cobalt blue and yellow and white, a slight change from the summer tan colour. Although red creates a nice colour pop also, red being a really strong colour for 2024.
Do you have a rough budget in mind?
Lots of questions! Although you may have already purchased a bag!

I think something more summery like basket - or a brighter colour at least.

Just a small bag is fine - can use the boyfriends bag for big things haha!

Yes I love all the colours you suggested - any of those would be amazing. Going to sicily next month.

At the risk of being sensible, I would opt for something with a zip closure and a sturdy shoulder or belt strap, so that you can stroll around and enjoy your holiday without fear of your mobile and credit cards going missing…
