I am hosting some of my girlfriends, as a post Christmas get together, but struggling for some cooking inspiration after having a very foodie orientated festive period.
Any good hosting recipes that are quick and easy, but also yummy and hearty?! let me know x
Hummus dip,
focaccia with tomatoes,
this savoury bake,
octopus salad,
cold veal with tuna sauce (vitello tonnato),
peppered mussels (impepata di cozze)
Spaghetti with clams
I love to start off with some nice sourdough bread and a good butter, nd maybe a fig carprese salad (Grilled Fig Caprese Salad) and then a pie or tart to share for the table with some sides (I love the diea of this one French Onion Tart, Perfect Party Food COOK)
Charcuterie board always goes down a treat!
Could also foil up the table and throw different crips and chips with lots of yummy dips x
Check out our Alexandra Dudley reels over on IG! Lots of good inspo for yummy & hearty dishes
Emily English (https://www.instagram.com/emthenutritionist/) has the best recipes, I always follow her advice.
If you’re looking for the perfect dessert, I highly recommend the Reemies Cakes peanut butter and dark chocolate minis—they’re a delicious treat! (Banana Minis (box of 6) / Vegan / Combo – reemies cakes).
For starters, I like to keep it simple yet elegant. I visit Prezzemolo & Vitale for the freshest ingredients like bread, grapes, and figs. I pair these with truffled cotto (ham), Gorgonzola cheese, crackers, and their amazing pesto. Not only do these items taste incredible, but they also double as beautiful table decorations for a truly aesthetic presentation.
I love the cookbook ‘Good Time Cooking’ it’s got such fun recipes for dinner party ideas and is laid out brilliantly as to what you can prep beforehand etc
