Might be an obvious one but M&S online has lots of dinnerware sets from classic and plain to more rustic and also sell other brands like Denby on there

This one from Dunelm is well priced and comes in a few different colours - all muted so easy to tie in with other platters etc

This one from Next is white with a bit of texture on the rim to add interest

This White Company one is lovely to elevate the everyday

But I think my current favourite is this one from Layered Lounge - in fact they have great tableware including platters etc

I’m unsure how inexpensive you want to go, but I bought these George Green Reactive Glaze dinner sets for my three daughters at university, and they’ve apparently been highly coveted in their halls/flats: direct.asda.com/george/home/tableware/green-reactive-glaze-dinner-set-12-piece/050907305,default,pd.html?

I also think the Ikea Strimmig range in grey is super stylish: https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/strimmig-plate-stoneware-grey-50505644/

I would’ve bought my daughters this Dunelm Hampton set in Forest Green if I’d seen it at the time: https://www.dunelm.com/product/hampton-12-piece-dinner-set-forest-green-1000220922
