Could anyone recommend a good hair colourist in west London for brunette hair? I live in Wandsworth so preferably not too far. I have damaged hair that I have been trying to re-grow after seriously bleaching it and my current hairdresser has just permanently dyed my roots copper which isn’t what I wanted at all so I’m gutted and super self conscious so on the hunt for a new one.
Any help would be really appreciated xx
I also live in Wandsworth! My hair is naturally really dark and have gradually been going blonde for years! I have been going to Charlottes Cave (in Balham / Clapham) they have lots of great hair dressers who specialise in brunettes / blondes etc. I have been seeing Lauren in the Clapham Common branch for the past 7 years and super happy with the results!
Ahdia London in Pinner is the best at highlights balayage etc. she works on dark hair. I never go anywhere else now.

The best colourist I know is Nick at Nicholas James Salon, situated very close to Oxford Circus, 106 Great Portland Street, very reasonably priced, fantastic salon. Nick has been in teh business for 40 years and is a true genious with colour and styling.

I cannot recommend my hair colourist enough. Her name is Cat - Instagram “cn.hairr” to see her work and contact her for details.
She was my hairdresser for years at The Ned, then after COVID she branched off to work independently and I tracked her down to keep doing my hair at home. She comes over during my work from home days (colour takes bloody ages so I’m happy to not do this in my free time!!) and works around my schedule whilst I’m taking calls / getting work done whilst she works her magic. She’s based in North London but happy to travel (I am way down in South London).
Im a huge fan of Samantha Cusick in Notting Hill, they do colour so well
Camilla Lund (@camillalundhair on insta) is wonderful! She’s kept me blonde whilst significantly improving the health and length of my hair. I had extensions in late 2022/early 2023 and they completely destroyed my hair - it was broken, dry and thin. She really gets the colour I’m trying to achieve whilst caring about hair health. Her beautiful studio is in Notting Hill.
