Hey all,
We are planning to do our honeymoon straight after our wedding in early October but a bit stuck on where to go!
October seems to be a rainy season for a lot of the “classic” spots, (Maldives, Thailand, Sri Lanka, The Caribbean) but we do just want to chill out somewhere with the option of exploring or activities.
We have looked in Mauritius or Seychelles but have no idea about either so would love some recommendations or if there is somewhere else we should be looking?
Only must is we want it to be hot!
Thanks!

Mexico could be nice? Rainy season ends in september & there are so many places you could go for warm weather there. There’s the caribbean coast & also the Pacific coast so if you’re looking for a beach you’ve got choice! I went to Holbox island this year and it was so beautiful & much more rustic/less built-up x

The Philippines! Cannot recommend it enough xx
Middle East is great in October, the weather is perfect I holidayed to Abu Dhabi last year, I would highly recommend Saadiyat Island the beach is beautiful x
I’ve heard Oman is amazing, or Mexico / South Africa.
I went to Mauritius for honeymoon and loved it, but I was pregnant and didn’t want to move from the pool for 2 weeks, I feel like it could be a bit boring otherwise x
I agree re the Middle East. I visited Abu Dhabi a couple years ago and Oman in November. Both had great weather and lovely hotels with the option to do some exploring!
I did Tanzania & Zanzibar in October - was perfect …28-30 degrees. Depends how hot you want it?
My husband and I went to Mauritius for our honeymoon in 2023. We had quite the busy / stressful year on the run up to it so really needed somewhere to just relax, unwind and not have to plan anything (we normally do so much on our travels). So if you’re looking a really luxurious / chilled out honeymoon I’d recommend staying here: https://www.thehungrysoles.com/constance-prince-maurice
We couldn’t fault it. And they have lots of activities on site to enjoy including paddle boarding and a catamaran etc. Enjoy! x
Ohh how exciting El!!
That time of year is the best time to go to Japan - it’s autumn there but usually with mild, sunny weather. Could start in Tokyo and then go Kyoto, Osaka and the islands?
Or yes Mexico would be dreamy - a week in Mexico City then down the the beaches?
Another good one at that time of year would be South Africa - a real bucket list trip!!
