Hi all,
I am visiting London for 7 hours in Friday with my twin sister for our birthday, we are going to have a bit of a shop and quick lunch but we really want to go to a nice bar for a glass of champagne/cocktail!
Does anyone have any reccomendations? We will be around Covent Garden/Oxford street/Mayfair. We were thinking Claridges and the Connaught but the Connaught doesn’t open until 16:00 and we were more thinking a lunchtime!
Thanks all!

Ah how exciting!! There’s a Moët & Chandon Champagne Bar at Harrods which is really nice. I also love the Ham Yard hotel for a nice afternoon tea + champagne.
The Connaught has nice bars, especially the red room is so nice!

Bulgari Hotel Knightsbridge has a lovely bar downstairs xx
I love Side Hustle at the Nomad for a cocktail, also the bar at the Royal Opera House is really lovely for a glass of champagne.
There’s a really lovely wine bar in Covent Garden, called Plume Wine Bar - it is so wholesome in there, and offers great wine and nibbles! The staff are also 10/10 x
Covent Garden: Lady of the Grapes for wine that’s almost all by female makers, Rules has a bar upstairs, for an old school institution, Bedford Street Wines and their sister restaurant (that has bar area below) is good for wine, as is 10 Cases.
Cafe Comptoir is a hidden gem hear Bond Street tube for glass fizz/wine, Lina Stores Soho has a bar below it, Bar Termini… Quo Vadis, Fitzrovia has Three Sheets too. Fortnum and Mason has a bar in the foodhall, or one upstairs now I believe. Hide has a bar in its restaurant, or they have a sister place in Shepherd Market too… The White Horse
The American Bar at The Stratford! I had an amazing time there with my friends. The atmosphere is very chic, and the drinks are amazing
