couldn’t agree more!
Lina Stores is great for affordable Italian!
Santore in Exmouth Market!
Just replied on another thread but in Tooting Bec, Rosmarino is DELISH! https://www.rosmarinorestaurant.co.uk x
For affordable and tasty pasta I really like Pastaio in Soho. The Big Mamma Group restaurants ( Circolo, Gloria…) are always fun vibes. But overall Lina Stores is probably my favourite! I could talk about pasta all day…
Flour and Grape - Bermondsey
Second this!
Padella is my fav. La famigilia is also the best for traditional authentic italian. Also heard great things about Antico Bologna in Clapham
Is it affordable though?
If you’re in the mood for pizza, some of my faves on are this list: The Best Pizza Restaurants In London | SheerLuxe
Bancone if you want pasta!
Il Baretto in Marylebone & Sale E Pepe in Knightsbridge
Just found this thread and OMG I am so excited to tell you about Bar Remo (2mins from Selfridges). We came across it by accident but a proper hidden gem. Amazing food, small family restaurant and pretty affordable too given it’s location. We went for my partners investiture in Oct and had the best time.
I know this has been posted a while ago, but I just have to add: Ida in Kensal Rise is a very small family-run Italian restaurant with the menu constantly changing and it is honestly such a lovely experience. You feel like you’re transported to a little town in Italy and the prices are great for what you get! x
Rocca in South Kensington or Dulwich
Osterio Basilica in Notting Hill - super affordable and authentic, we’ll probably see you there
