London day out with mum - culture please!

Hi all, am looking for ideas for a day out in London with my Mum this spring/summer for her birthday. Ideally a mix of culture and somewhere lovely to eat/drinks. We go quite regularly so keen to hear tips on any new must-see exhibitions/theatre/events or pop-ups coming up that we could combine with lunch or dinner & drinks?

What a lovely idea! I keep walking past https://www.studio-pottery-london.com/ in Victoria, Eccleston Yards and I have always thought it would be a lovely activity to do with my Mum! Plus, you could go for food at https://www.wildbytart.com/ (the food is DELISH) followed by some rosé in the sun at amie wine studio – drinkamie all places within walking distance of eachother x

Oo thanks this sounds awesome - think you’ve just planned the perfect day for me right there!

A good few exhibitions for you below:

Enjoy xx

Hi!
Have you been to Two Temple Place?
There is an exhibition of Art Glass this spring:

I recently re-visited The Wallace Collection and forgot how much of a treasure trove it is! Then you could head to a spot in Marylebone for food/drink. Plenty of recommendations here.Alternatively, Divas is great at the V&A - ends on 10th April though so you’d need to be quick! x

I love Two Temple Place (my boyfriend actually took his mum there last month!) – it’s such a hidden gem.

Hi Heather!
I live in Lincoln, but am hopping on the LNER soon, to see the glass expo before it ends.

Another hidden gem which you might / might not know is Wilton’s Music Hall.
Do check that out too! ( !o minute walk from Tower Hill tube and a little tricky to find, but well worth it.)

Tom Carradine is great fun, as you get to singalong - he provides song sheets - but he is VERY popular, so sells out quickly. But a great evening out for all generations.
