London recommendations

I am going to London for the first time next weekend and while there are already some things I want to do I would love some recommendation’s on any must do’s.

We are staying in Shepard’s bush near Kensington and would love restaurant and bar recommendations for that area as well as any recommendations on breakfast/ brunch the following day

For must-do’s: I think if you can, try and book a show! Today tix is a great one for last minute tickets. Otherwise, your typical tourist hot spots need to be done at least once, (leaving out Madame Tussauds). The V&A is great, as is the National Gallery and both the Tates.

For brunch, there are soooo many places to pick from.

If you don’t mind travelling, Pavilion Cafe in London’s Victoria park is great for a proper fry-up and, if you are nursing a hangover, it’s lovely to walk around.

Otherwise, I hear very good things about Coco Momo in Kensington.

Enjoy!

Chet’s at The Hoxton in Shepherd’s Bush is great for cocktails and food. In the Kensington & Chelsea area I’d suggest Daphne’s, Jacuzzi, Stanley’s, The Cadogan Arms, No Fifty Cheyne.
Also Gold in Notting Hill is a firm favourite if you can get a reservation I’d definitely go there!

For brunch, I’d go to Vardo or Granger & Co in Chelsea as you can do some shopping after but there are so many great places further out also!

Notting Hill isn’t far away and it has some of the loveliest restaurants:

I also really like Kuro Eatery in this area – https://kuro-london.com/

And Zephyr – https://www.zephyr.london/

Make sure you go to the V&A too!
