My best friend has cancelled her hen party due to personal/family reasons. We’re seeing each other for the day in February and I’d like to do something special for her (just me and her) as it’s making me sad that she won’t have any sort of celebration ahead of her wedding.
My budget is £300 for the both of us. I’ve looked at spas - but they’re all coming out really expensive/over budget. I’d be grateful for any ideas that make her day really special and memorable, but equally luxe.

Day trip to Paris definitely! Eurostar have some great ticket deals on. There’s also plenty of places in Europe you can get to equally as quickly & cheaply by plane/train if you want to do something memorable!
If the spas are coming out too expensive you could do something with the same vibe like getting manipedis together & a nice lunch?

If going to a spa was your first thought, maybe renting a place to stay and doing a posh DIY spa day could be nice? Perhaps renting a cabin-style air bnb with a jacuzzi! You can bring face masks and nail polish, as well as some bubbly. Maybe if budgets work out, you could also hire a masseuse to visit too!
Thank you for all of your suggestions! She has a bit of anxiety around travel sometimes, so I thought best not take her to Paris for the day as much as I’d love to!
Such a good idea about the airbnb - wish I’d seen this sooner as this is genuinely such a great idea!
I’ve actually now planned a day and thought I’d share just in case anyone needed a girly day inspo in Winchester.
We’re going to Ben’s Pilates to do a reformer session in the morning, followed by an hour long massage at Vita Spa and then lunch at The Ivy. I’ve also organised for a little suprise bento cake (mini cake with 4-5 servings and super affordable!)

That sounds amazing! You will both have such an amazing day - Pilates, a massage, lunch and your best mate. What a perfect day x
